On the whole 'approach towards music criticism thing' I think I agree the most with what Mark has to say, the whole album-centric 'my favorite albums are those that sound like no other/pioneered a sound'. Or something like that. Which is quite ironic really, as Mark I think was the first to do the whole 'I won't do a page if I don't have the complete discog' thing. ANYWAYS, I find that oftentimes I'm a lover of albums, not artists. Around here it's reeaaally hard to get complete rock discogs (unless it's Tool or something), legitimate or otherwise, and when I do DL them, I find that I never listen to them (hey there, Rush). I mean I looove the Melvins but to this day I haven't heard the Maggot, The Bride Screamed Murder, etc.
