I'm still waiting for motion sensor action with games like GTA or Left4Dead. Imagine using the motion capture to punch random citizens in the face or slash at zombies with a katana. Now that would be great.

The new Zelda seems to be the first full-fledged big shot action/adventure game to get this right...

Speaking of Zelda, I recently finished Twilight Princess after a two-year gap since I last played it. Great game, though I'd still like to see Nintendo ramp up the realism and violence even further. I'm not talking about giving it the Team Ninja Xbox treatment, I'm talking about keeping the whimsical, quirky and childlike aspects of the series while adding in an actual sense of loss/overwhelming evil/danger/tragedy to the storyline and why the hell not, the capacity to give moblins full-head Master Sword haircuts while zipping by on horseback, with actual visible blood and stuff. Also they could put in Prince of Persia-like deaths for Link to suffer, one thing we kept going on about with my lil' sister is how disgusting Link's deaths (not that I kept dying foo) would be if TP (heh) took place in something resembling the real world. The general vibe I'm talking about is something like Princess Mononoke or Heart of Darkness...just imagine an HD, cel-shaded Zelda with epic bloody battles, creepier dungeons, grotesque screen-filling bosses, the sense that Link is truly the only hope in dark, desperate times and...more cuccos. Not bloody likely that we'll ever see an M-rated Nintendo franchise game but one can always dream...
