Hey I read through Starostin's reviews! I don't know, I find him insightful and even funny sometimes (like on his 'Henry's Dream' review), but then again I like spending way too much time reading people's thoughts on stuff. At the very least you know he'll stick to talking about the subject at hand and not start rambling about 19th century franco-pussian diplomacy. If you want pretentious try Piero Scaruffi, his reviews usually go on a bit like this: "on their late 20th century debut No Doubt explored multiple ramifications of post-post feminist discourse through a dialectic approach that incorporated a deep-seated post-ethnological appreciation of afro-caribbean rhtyhmic digressions. 10/10"
