I actually like Kings Of Leon. I view them as my generation's CCR. They write good rock songs that the yocals can appreciate. Ain't nothing special, but dang they write a good hook.

Sleep: I was joking.

Fierce: (or should I say "George") I agree the 70's were indeed a vapid time. However the 80's will forever remain a period of intense rebellion and creativity for me. And I wasn't even old enough to rebel in the 80's (I was was nine years old). I had an older sister. I liked michael jackson. But as an teenager, looking back....holy crap! Ten years on, I still keep finding bands that blow me away from that 1980-98 period.

Those three I mentioned purely because they have an impeccable record of releasing amazing albums. With the following caveat: Fugazi's early stuff is not there best, SY you have to be selective....and well the Pixies they barely released a bad song (on their albums).

"You're a very nosy fellow, kitty cat. Huh? You know what happens to nosy fellows? Huh? No? Wanna guess? Huh? No? Okay. They lose their noses."
