I grew up with nothing but Nintendo systems, so I'm a bit biased towards them. I absolutely hate how they're taking a huge dump on their hardcore fans (like me!) who supported them throughout the N64 and Gamecube years, only to completely forget about their fanbase and focus more on non-gaming software and casual games and half-assing their online network for the Wii, and failing to deliver on games. Super Mario Galaxy was one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had with a game though, and the sequel (due out next month!!!) looks just as great.

I own a Nintendo 64, Super Nintendo, Gamecube, PS2, Xbox, Wii and Dreamcast. My favorite of all of them is probably the Dreamcast; it had a short lifespan but god did it deliver in innovative, quality games. I really want a Xbox 360 so I can play Oblivion and Fable 2, and the new Banjo-Kazooie (first game was my entire childhood ;-;). My girlfriend has a PS3, and I really liked playing Bioshock, LittleBig Planet and inFamous on it.

My favorite games are probably platformers (Mario, Sly Cooper, Klonoa, etc), but I really like non Final Fantasy RPGs, old-school shooters (you know, the side-scrolling ones or the veritcal ones), and fighting games too. I also tend to buy anything that looks remotely weird (I really love Oddworld) or so stupid I can't even believe it's real (WWE Crush Hour, a car combat game...starring pro wrestlers!)

I don't play video games as much as I used to, due to a lack of a next-gen console with more than 4 games worth playing. I still keep up with them, though.

What games are you guys looking forward to this year? Mario Galaxy 2 and the new Metroid look super cool, and Nintendo is rumored to show a new Zelda at E3. I hope it's better than Twilight Princess.
