I rarely agree with his viewpoints - something which is exemplified by his thrashing of my favourites Kraftwerk 2, Zeit, and Zeichnungen des Patienten O.T. - but I appreciate the amount of detail he goes into when reviewing.  It's not even just systematically rabbiting on about every song either, though he often does mention every song at least once - he does a very good job at giving an overall view of the album as well, which is obviously very important.  I could read his one-star Kraftwerk 2 review and see that this was an album I would likely enjoy listening to.  At the same time, when I agree with him like on Highway 61 Revisited or Horse Rotorvator, I find he's dead on about what makes the album great.

Overall I'd get a bit annoyed reading his site for too long, but nevertheless I have quite a bit of respect for the man.

His Current 93 reviews are hilarious and I wish he went a bit further along in the discography than the albums he reviewed - there would be a bit of a rough patch from where he left off, but especially getting into Thunder Perfect Mind I'd be curious to read his thoughts.
