I don't know. I think a lot of games I've played lately have really lacked any thing in the way of fun, or dare I say, innovation. Theres WAY too much of en emphasis on graphics, cut scences, realism, and story line. WHO CARES! I don't want to run around a detailed scene for a half an hour collecting items to then walk to a certain place killing a bunch of the same dull little men that I've been shooting throughout the game. I'm thinking of one I hired recently, you were supposed to be able to trek around the universe collecting crap for your alien posse and other things; well guess what. The alien planets actually looked like alien planets. Highly detailed expansive of dessert. You have your little space buggy and you just cruise around for like fifteen minutes until you bump into a group of boring space pirates who look like everyother space pirate in the game. And then it takes you like 5 minutes of cutscene to get to the next place. I do love what games can do though. Having to play though a level can really get you involved in a storyline like no other. After playing a game I can get so emotionally involved somehow. I get SO nostalgic about playing metal gear solid, (the original playstation one) all those years ago when I was only like 7. If only people could write good stories for games then they'd be on to something. Or make games fun, either way.
